Had such a fun time collaborating with Grant Beachy, a local photographer. He had the chance to play around with a new kickstarter lighting tool, and so we created some fun shapes! Definitely feeling lava lamp and Stranger Things vibes.

My parents and I spent a much needed day up at Camp Friedenswald, a camp I grew up going to as a camper since I was born. The camp is currently under renovation. We helped paint new signs which will be placed across the campground, including some of the newly built cabins, lodge and chapel/center!
The past two months I have been temporarily working at Goshen College as the graphic designer while the college's designer was on maternity leave. She just returned to the job this past week so it is now time for me to find another (hopefully full-time) job!
Below is this year's Graber family newsletter! I'm fairly happy with the turn out - what do you think? I follow an artist on Instagram known as @theydrawandcook. They decided to start a September Challenge called "30 Days of Spicy" where you tag them on Instagram with your illustrations of spicy foods and recipes. I've decided that this is a way to inspire me, give me project guidelines and will hopefully keep me accountable for a daily practice. Here are Sept 1 and 2 "illustrations." You can follow me on this journey @color.me.abby !
I really had fun with this photoshoot - Meg and Josh are two of my friends from college. Aren't they adorable? After three years, I finally get to use a brush!
After time and consideration, I decided to take the plunge and comb out all of my dreadlocks. Clearly it was a big decision, but I am looking forward to sporting a new do for awhile! This is a rain barrel that I painted for Goshen's 8th annual ERRA (Elkhart River Restoration Association) Rain Barrel Auction. I spent what free chances I had to create this fun design during my final semester at Bluffton University. The design is a vine of beer hops which travels around the rain barrel with various Zentangle designs within each open space. Get a good up close look of these intricate patterns at one or both of these two locations:
1. Goshen Brewing Company was kind enough to sponsor my rain barrel where it is now currently displayed until Friday's auction (thank you!). 2. This auction will take place during Goshen First Fridays celebration. You are all invited to join in on this year's celebration which is this Friday, June 3rd at the Main Stage on the Courthouse Lawn at 6:00pm.
