Its weeks like this week when you really realize how much stuff has to get done in a small amount of time.
My last blog entry was a sneak peek for a current illustration project I'm working on - that project is due on Monday so hopefully I will be uploading that relatively soon. I also just received a freelance opportunity to make a band poster for two of my church friends and their friend back home. They are known as "Theory Expats." Once that poster if finished I'll make sure to post that as well to my blog.
Also, exciting things are happening in the art world in and around Bluffton. This Friday is the Professoriate ArtSpace/Lima Gallery opening. It's a gallery opening for professor's work around the area, including Bluffton. There will also be a separate gallery (I think upstairs) where student's work that the professors have selected will be displayed. I was lucky enough to be asked by two of my professors to have a graphic design/digital piece and a ceramic set of pieces displayed in this show! I am beyond excited to check out the artwork of other professors and college students are making! You can check out there super retro website: http://artspacelima.com
As well as Lima, there will also be the yearly art walk in Findlay! I will get the chance to visit one of my professor's studios and one of the newer projects he has just finished, as well as the Neon Heater gallery which always has interesting artists visiting.
