After some intense work over fall break, I've finally "finished" my resume. Of course there will be changes made, and who knows, maybe I'll make more of them. But it is good to see it nice and clean. And with my clean logo/personal branding I made for my Corporate ID class.

For the past two years, my supervisor at my library on campus job has had me design our student assistant bulletin board. It's a board that includes pictures of all the student staff in the library so people can see who all works there. Each year I've done the portraits creatively different. This year has been my favorite, as I am doing digital drawings of each student. It has been a fun way to learn to use a Wacom tablet. |
The past two weeks have flown by! Despite the fact that I haven't been nearly as productive as I would have liked (probably due to the fact that I've been sick with a cold the past two weeks), I have actually "checked off" a few of those goals I made in my last post. 1. Look for summer internships. It's a lot harder then it looks. But I have found some options that I am looking further into! Wish me luck! 2. Try to follow some tutorials and learn cool new stuff. I think I've done about 4-5 total. Not nearly as many as I'd hoped. But I did do a couple spur of the moment "photo shoots." It was nearly 60 degrees out one day last week and I couldn't help but take some outside shots with the dog. Also, my brother and I spent some "quality" time together recreating some old memories for a photo album for my parents for Christmas. I put some sneak peaks in the gallery. 3. As I said earlier, I already finished my dad's invite. It's up on social media as we speak. 4. Meet with the brewery about my independent study. My dad and I have made plans to meet tomorrow! So I am really hoping that goes well. 5. Maybe make myself a hat. Which I did! (Photo in the gallery) 6. Order textbooks and purchase art supplies. Check and check! |
After quite an awful week of finals (not actually because of the exams, but because I was sick with the stomach flu), I am finally home and comfortable! I have three weeks ahead of me and absolutely no homework due! Although, I am pushing myself to do something worthwhile!
My goals this holiday break:
1. Look for summer internships
2. Try to follow some tutorials and learn cool new stuff
3. Make my dad's birthday invite (which is actually done!) - It's not my "best" work, and it was done half-fast, but it will work.
4. Meet with the brewery and figure out what I'm doing for my independent study next semester!
5. Maybe make myself a hat
6. Oh! And order my textbooks and buy art supplies for next semester.
And after one productive day, here are my creations:
